1. How do I receive my password?
When you have registered, your password will be sent to you by email within a short space of time.
2. What costs do I incur by using erWin?
The costs incurred by using the online service information depend on the flatrate you have selected. The costs for mail articles are made up of the price of the mail article, VAT (where applicable) and a standard mailing charge. The standard mail charge is €5 within the EU and €10 outside the EU.
3. How long after placing an order will I have to wait to be enabled?
Normally only a few seconds. Your credit card is checked immediately (online validation) for this purpose.
4. Forgotten your password?
If you have forgotten your password, click on "Password forgotten" below the log-in field in the entry field in the main navigation. After you have entered your email address, a new password will be sent to you. You must change this after logging on for the first time.
5. Log-on was not successful.
Please check that you have entered your email address and password correctly. Remember that the password is case-sensitive.
6. Problems with Acrobat Reader.
To use erWin, you need Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher. You will also need Adobe Acrobat Reader. It is important to use Adobe Acrobat Reader to work with documents via erWin. It is impossible to display documents in the erWin webshop without Adobe Acrobat Reader.
7. The document can be opened but only one page is legible.
Older versions of Acrobat Reader can create problems when documents are being read. Install the latest version of Acrobat Reader; it is available free of charge.
8. Can I use erWin with Netscape as well?
Even though no problems arose during internal tests with more recent Netscape versions (Navigator 6 and 7), you are strongly recommended to use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x or higher.
9. Will the range of documents offered in erWin be expanded?
The Audi erWin Webshop is regularly updated.
10. What should I do if my erWin documents can no longer be opened?
If you experience problems opening documents or difficulties caused by changes to the CUP-ID or USER-ID following hardware replacements, please contact support via "Help > Contact".
11. Feedback button
You can make enquiries regarding the contents of documents using the feedback channel. Use the FEEDBACK/Create button under the menu item "Repair and maintenance information" for this purpose. You must have a valid flat rate in order to use this function and receive an answer to your question.
